My emotions feel a bit like scrambled eggs right now. Some weeks are so full of ups and downs, meaningful moments, and significant activity that every blog I imagine writing feels inadequate to catch everyone up to date. The truth is I need to slow down and get up to date with myself. It is yet another night where the ability to unscramble my thoughts and capture what is going on seems too daunting. I need sleep but I promise that I will share more soon. It is just lots of little stuff that has added up to breakfast in my brain (scrambled eggs). I have been far away from my blog and my friends. I am busy being busy and not knowing how to make the train of life stop. I am sure many of you can relate. We walk along being fine until one day we realize we need a day off of life just to catch our breath. Well since that day is not tomorrow I must bid you adieu for tonight. Before I head to bed I must praise the Lord! Rachel and I were able to celebrate her mom's birthday after we endured another meeting together. We took her out for dinner and it was a really amazing time. So many of my prayers were answered! God is so good! Afterwards I realized how tense I had been because I was exhausted. So I sleep...

Brookie,
I just finished the best book called "Castaway Kid" One man's search for hope and home ~by R.B. Mitchell.
The back reads..."Abandoned by his parents when he was just three yr.old, Rob Mitchell began his journey as one of the last
"lifers" in an American orphanage. As Rob's loneliness and rage grew, his hope shrank. Would he ever find a real family or a place to call home?"
Very easy reading and well written. He goes into his abandonment and trust issues which he slowly works through after he comes to God at 17. I'd love to lend you the book. Just let me know and I can drop it by your house.
Work # 369-5234 6am-2:30pm
Have a good night ;0)
