Baby's highchair

This is a picture of my sister Autumn who turned 21 last Tuesday. If you've ever met her you'll know that she is the most interesting, fabulous person... & funny too. She has always been a character but as she becomes closer to me in age, if only in my perception, she amazes me with her love and strength. We lived together for a year and a half before July and now she lives 40 minutes away. Even though I don't get to come home to her every night we talk on the phone constantly. I'm hooked on her!

In the tradition of Autumn's birthday there were some hang-ups with her birthday plans. In the past Autumn has had the craziest string of bad things happen on her birthday (people dying, dog's getting attacked etc.). Thankfully this year the worst thing that happened was that we got pizza & beer at a restaurant that was too full. Thankfully we were able to find a table, unfortunately there were no empty chairs in the whole place so some of us stood and some of us resorted to sitting in highchairs around the table. Now Autumn has been nick-named "Baby" by all my old roommates and I. This was partially because she was the youngest but mostly because she is cuddly, pale, has super soft skin, and falls asleep all over the house, just like a baby. Even though it would have been nice to sit down and eat our pizza, I find it quite appropriate that my "Baby" had highchairs at her 21st birthday! Here are some highchair pictures along with some pictures from the hat party that we had for her this weekend. You may spot some of my family members, and no, we don't always dress like this.

Great pics. Love the silly hats. And, randomly . . . the thought of you girls in a restaurant for Autumn's birthday . . . makes me think of our times at Outback Steakhouse during college (not that we sat in highchairs or anything). Don't ask me why . . . missing out times out to eat together :). Wish you were close by :).
Love you friend!
